Every year at the end of spring and in summer the festival is celebrated Shakespeare in the Park, a free festival where you can enjoy great plays by William Shakespeare in the incomparable setting of Delacorte Theater, located in Central Park very close to Belvedere Castle and the Museum of Natural History. This year's edition of the festival

This year Shakespeare in the Park, in the 57 edition of this festival, comes as always with two Shakespeare plays that are performed for approximately one month each. More than 5 millions of people have seen during this time for free this festival, in which we can almost always find within the cast a well-known actor or actress of Broadway or Hollywood. This year the following works are carried out:

  • From 21 from May to 23 from June we can enjoy Much ado about nothing (Much Ado About Nothing), one of the most famous works of William Shakespeare. This version will be directed by the Tony Award winner, Kenny Leon.
  • Julio Del 16 al 11 August you can see the adaptation of Coriolanus, a Shakespeare play that was not performed at the festival since 1979, directed by director Tony Sullivan, winner of a Tony Award.

All representations start at 8 in the afternoon and they are held at the Delacorte Theater, located very close to the Museum of Natural History.

How to get your free tickets?
